John McCain now leads Barack Obama by twenty-four percentage points in Tennessee. The latest Rasmussen survey shows McCain with a 56% to 32% margin. When “leaners” are included, McCain now leads Obama 60% to 35%. Senator McCain is viewed favorably by 63% of voters. These results reflect the national trending we are seeing of Obama's rapid decline.

Republican Senator David Vitter of Louisiana, who was involved in a scandal with an escort service, has received some good news from the Federal Election Commission. The FEC, in a draft report, is prepared to allow Vitter to use campaign funds to pay the legal expenses he incurred from the incident.

On Fox News’ Hannity & Colmes tonight, conservative pundit Dick Morris tried to claim that Barack Obama is inexperienced on foreign policy, but in doing so, only managed to demonstrate his own idiocy. He said: "Where he’s wrong is that we went into Iraq at the invitation of the government, not as an invasion."
